Clyde was incorporated in 1919 under the name of Clyde Trading Company Ltd. After various name changes and changes in status it was converted to Clyde Steel (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Clyde Industrial Corporation Ltd, a public company, in the republic of South Africa
Our Factory is situated in Springs, Gauteng near the metropolitan city Johannesburg.
Whilst Clyde Steel is primarily a steel service center, over the years it has through various divisions and company acquisitions down streamed into the manufacture of a number of value added products that leverage off the service center's manufacturing abilities.
